Frantic Slow Motion

Where in time is destiny found
The fabric that brings life full circle
And right back around

Time lost as we ponder
The meaning and why
Who we are
When to; and when not to cry

No words can describe
The sudden emotion
The vivid memory
Of frantic slow motion

Time

Time heals all wounds
it leaves behind a space
This space a void, an image
of a dark and blissless place

Thoughts like these torment
while time so slowly turns
Waiting for the healing
bandages for the burns

Time and times remembered
the last time that we met
It was at this time, when in your memory
I fell to my knees and wept

Feelings so strong, I could not stand
these words that made me cry
You were so young
you left so soon

You didn’t say goodbye

Angels

Angel

An angel once came to me,
in the middle of the night
She made me feel at ease,
Her spirit was full of light

She changed her own destiny,
and became my eternal past
She left me with a message,
that peace was hers at last

One morning when the rain had stopped,
and the sun began to shine
The beams of light through the trees,
reflected an awesome sign

For every drop of water
and every beam of light
Every single sparkle
that angel is in my sight

Anger

A garden made of love and grace
His hands uncover her crimson face
Fury ends all her worries
Carefully planned, time fuels her hurries

Melancholy, short of describing his sorrow
From where, must he find the strength to borrow
All her hopes for rapture goes
Where only her troubled soul will know

A rose for him, she feels relief
A rose for her, his tears of grief

Joy

On this day I wish you...
shining sunlight
warm winds
life-long friendship
wonderful new beginnings
I wish you laughter in your dreams
blooming flowers in every scene

Through your lives I wish you
silver moons
peace from above
a beautiful family...
most of all I wish you love

Grief

I once saw trees bend in the breeze
Fall had come to claim their leaves
As they fell, they shared their glory
Brilliant color that told their story

The trees embrace the earth and sun
Branches sway and move as one
A symphony of life to all who witness
A prelude to winters chilling quickness

Though they fall and color may wane
Their place in my life will always remain
I will forever remember to fill my heart
Each time trees wave and leaves depart
